This auction is for a Gast vacuum pump. Model 0322-V3-G18D. The motor is a GE 1/4hp single phase. I plugged it in and the motor runs strong and smooth. I don't know anything about vacuum pumps but it wasn't pulling much of a vacuum. I am guessing the oil jar needs to be filled but I don't know enough about this thing to completely test it. I don't have any oil and since I have to remove the oil jar and two other jars for shipping- I will leave it dry. I am selling it exactly as I acquired it at an estate sale. I'm selling a used Welch Model 2545B-01 Standard Lab Duty. Oil-free Vacuum Pump in excellent operating and cosmetic condition. This pump has a ¼ hp motor. Operating with 115v, 60 Hz, 3.6A through a standard 3 prong electrical plug, with an on-off switch on the power cord. The pump weighs 6.3 kg. The original manufacturers claim was the pump has an air displacement capacity of 1.6 cfm. And would pull a maximum vacuum of 27.6 in. Hg. It should supply up to 100 PSIG of air pressure. The pump has a single cylinder using a Teflon sealed piston. It features a water trap(left side) and a muffler and air filter(right side) along with screw-adjusted pressure and vacuum regulator controls.
