Thermopile for 750mV controlled gas logs. This is used for keeping the pilot lit. If you release the lighting button and the pilot light goes out it is likely this is the problem. My old controller failed and I bought a new log set instead of replacing the controller. However. The thermopile was still good. The new cost for this is $30.
