Measures just under 2 1/2 inches long when open and 2 inches high including bail. Piece was brought from Russia by my Great Aunt in the 1940's. It is marked on center panel with a strike including a man's profile and the number 84 as well as a strike mark with the Cyrillic letters"MC" The same panel has writing at the top.the words seem to translate into"VISION" and"SERGEI" I may be wrong.some one I'm hoping will know. Antique Early 1900s Imperial Trouser Hanger Wall Hanging Cast Iron NICE Hook Too Lots of oldees for you this week- some very cool and very old primitives. Fabulous retro industrial, wonderful original artwork, and even some deco thrown in- there’s something for everyone! Here is a unique one- it calls itself a trouser hanger. With a patent date on the front of November 29, 1900, but you can really use it for so many things- hang it up on the wall, and it's a nice towel rack, linen hanger, or just a general hook from which you can hang your displays! The backplate that mounts on the wall is made of cast iron, and it identifies that it is called an"Imperial Trouser hanger, put out by Pynchon& Co. in Philadelphia. The looping tubes in the front I believe are made of steel(if not cast iron, too, a magnet sticks to them) and look ... moreto have a nickel plated finish- I can't be sure, but it sure looks like the nickel finishes of the early last century- it's still quite shiny silver, with very little wear. Most of the teenie dark spots that you may see in the photos are actually dirt or grime- it could use a good cleaning. It weighs a hefty 1 1/4 lbs, and it measures 9 3/8" wide at the hooks, 2 3/4" deep hook loops only, and 3 1/8" deep from the backplate to the very front of the hook. I did notice that the backplate- which the end of the back of the hook is threaded into- tilts just a smidge off center to the left- it's really hard to notice(and easier to see from the back in my photos- see photo 7- it's just a touch off straight) and very well may be original as it does not budge for me- it's on tight. It's in excellent solid and sturdy condition. Aside from needing a good cleaning, there's a some small spots of white wall paint on the very edges of the backplate- from when the wall was painted, I'm sure. The backplate has a black finish that just has the teeniest amount of wear. The finish has served it well as there's really no rust that I can find- maybe a

Tone King Imperial Guitar Amp Used but very Cool PRICE DROP RELISTED with some additional info and a lower starting price which is about $900 below the price of a new one but this is of course not new. This is a used Tone King Imperial guitar amp. Probably a few years old. Not sure as the guy I bought it from got it used also. Works properly, all original, sounds great, has some minor cosmetic issues so read description for details. There are a few very small tears in the tolex(not the grille) mostly along some bottom and back side edges. I've tried to capture those in the pictures. Not a big deal but if you want a perfect one, there are lots of new ones for quite a bit more money. Also, the leather handle has a crack in the middle of the leather but doesn't affect the use of it(it's not going to snap off or anything, the stitching ... moreis intact and there is a core inside the leather too) There is an old store sticker on the back panel also. PREVIOUSLY I MENTIONED THAT THE TUBES HAD BEEN IN AWHILE, and I got lots of emails saying"Dude, what's wrong with the tubes? or words to that effect. Nothing wrong, not microphonic, they work, they are just not brand new and eventually you may need to replace since tubes eventually wear out but don't worry about that right now. This is a very versatile 20 watt amp, one section gives you kind of a Deluxe Reverb sound and the other more Tweed-like, with a seriously cool tremelo circuit(some people compare it to a Uni-vibe but since I don't have one of those to compare it to, I can't say) on top of that. No cover or footswitch(not needed to operate the reverb or tremelo) If you're not familiar with this amp, lots of reviews online. No Refund on this unless, per ebay policy, item arrives not as described but I've really tried to cover everything, and there shouldn't be any surprises so make sure this is something you are pretty sure about wanting. He told her he got this microphone out of a plane that was going to be on a kamikaze mission that was captured when the island was taken.It could have been Bougainville or Rabaul,New Guinea,or the Japan mainland itself.He recovered a pilot's microphone,earphone speaker,and an aircraft altimeter. This no reserve auction is for the rare black bakelite-bodied pilot's radio microphone. It is in very good original condition with no cracks or chips that ... moreI can see. The rubber cup that goes against the mouth is in excellent condition and is very pliable. The activator button on top releases and pops back up fine.The connector wires are individually cloth wrapped and surrounded by a braided sheathing that is rubber insulated. The outer rubber insulation has become hard and brittle with age.The wire is approximately 5' feet long.The connector pins appear to be chrome plated and are set in a bakelite housing.The side of the hand held microphone has 3 painted symbols applied by the manufacturer.Though they are starting to disappear. I believe there is a good chance this is in fact what the figure is. However I will let you ultimately decide its age for yourself and bid accordingly. The collector appeared to know exactly what he was talking about and was a noted connoisseur of Chinese Arts. The collector ran a high end Asian Arts Shop for many years, and he was known for specializing in Imperial Jades, known as the Imperial Jade Shop of Toronto which closed in the year 1976. When the shop closed many of the pieces were send to Sothebys for auction. But the collector saved some of his most prized and favourite pieces, including this elephant figure and some of the other examples also listed. The Elephant figure has a fine softness or dullness to the jade which should be found on a piece of this age from years of handling and being exposed to the elements. This takes a particularly long time to occur on jade examples being one of the hardest substances on earth.
