Antique The Akron lamp Co. clothes iron self-heating white gas
This is an old and rare(1910's. 20's) Clothes Iron, Self-Heating with White Gas I believe made by the Akron Light Co. It is very similar to the later Coleman version. The flat iron area measures 7.75" x 3.75" This is a nice iron in good shape although it has rust on it. The rust can be cleaned up by the new owner very easily with a rust cleaner. The handle is wood, a bit of finish loss underneath. Please examine the pictures closely to verify the condition. This is a great find/ buy for who ever gets this item.

HEATING,LAMP,SEPULCHRE,BELGIQUE. Has a few small dings as shown but in nice shape for its age. I think most of the parts are present except for the glass chimney and wick i believe. The wick adjuster knob is stiff. This is a great early piece and i think a with a little tlc this can be a very useful item again. Base measures 9 3/4" in diameter and about 7 1/2" tall as shown.This is another upstate New York estate find of ours. We are offering many scarce and hard to come across items. This heating lamp is amazing! The infrared lamp emits the correct(yes. It's FDA approved) infrared spectrum to provide the right amount ot heat to sore muscles. I had a problem with my shoulder, which resulted from a motorcycle accidents, years ago. A friend of my had seen these lamps in action and said they charged $100 and hour in Los Angles for a treatment. I was a bit skeptical at first but when she sent the lamp to me and said try it, I did, since I didn't have anything to loose. I tried it for 5 or 6 sessions and felt relief and really didn't think any more about my shoulder, I had got to the point that I had forgotten I had a problem. I kept the lamp standing by, ready for use but I never needed it again. Now that I am moving I need to lighten my load and would like to make this lamp available to some one who can benefit ... morefrom it. I have the original box and will disassemble it and repack properly for shipping. Oh. I forgot to mention that the black round circle in one of the pictures is part of the heating system, I was told that is is some type or clay or something like that from a famous area in Japan which is known for its healing properties.I suppose something like a mineral springs.
