Charter Oak Stove Grate Very Heavy with Acorn Design
This is absolutely lovely. Yes. It does have some missing crome color, but still is a quality piece. Measures 7 5/8" x 6 3/4" approximately. You can see the lovely design and that wonderful acorn in the center. My mother used it as a trivet, but it weighs 2 lb. 5 oz. before shipping materials. Above the acorn stem is a hole that would fit the swing arm for the stove. The back has the numbers 40 and 1902 raised on it. You can see the square that the hole/swing arm goes to. Radius large tripod stove - Swedish made - Nickle plated - Cast iron grate
A large Radius tripod stove made in Sweden. Probably in the late 50's or early 60's. The stove is in good solid condition, but has not been tested. Over the years, It has had several solder repairs to the fuel fount as shown in the pictures, and the manufacturer's stamped logos are difficult to see through the heavy nickle plating. The stove stands about 12" tall, with an 11" diameter heavy cast iron(Optimus? grate. The burner is a Primus part. An intersting and unusual vintage camp stove for your collection. Group of 3 Antique Cast Iron Wood Coal Stove Lid Lifters, Grate Shakers, Etc.
A group of three antique cast iron stove parts. I am unsure of the exact function of each. They could be lid lifters. Grate shakers, or something else, but they are all stove related. The first piece measures about 8-1/4" long and is marked"140" on the top of the handle. There are some casting marks on the underside of the handle as well. But they are difficult to read. The second piece m easures about 8" long. Has a casting mark on the underside of"B63" and is nickel plated. The third piece m easures about 11-1/2" long and has no casting marks or other identifiers. And is also nickel plated. The parts are used. But in good condition. The plated items do show some plating wear and minor rusting. The pictures show the condition of the items. This is a nice old group of 4 cast iron wood or coal burner grates. They are 3 3/4" tall. The back is 2" wide, front is 1 1/2" wide at the top and about 1 1/4" wide at the bottom. Several of these form a circle in the burner area, they are in great shape, no chips or cracks. This looks good. Items as pictured. I have other vintage items. For Sale is I guess a stove grate shaker and/or lifter handle. Used for coal or wood stove. The handle looks to be a shaker and/or lifter handle and in good condition. Seems to be a pretty good size handle compared to many of them. The handle on the front side says"DRAW THE GRATE SLIDE OUT WHILE SHAKING THE GRATE" and the backside has the word"OAK" and in another place it has the word"NEUTIPE" or something very similar. The handle looks to have been chrome plated or something similar when it was made. Also it seems as if over time a little of the plating has came off in a couple very small areas and a little of rust has came through and it also looks as if someone in the past has put a clear coat over the entire handle to preserve it. Up for auction is an antique coal/wood stove shaker. It is about 7" long from the 90 degree bend and the handle is 4" long. It has a chrome color but it is rough, so I can't tell if it has been painted or has been used badly. It is really solid though and ready for use.
