Here is a very old antique Weston model 5 No. 1794 portable shunt for use with their electric meter. In VG condition, 3-1/8" X 5-5/8" and stands 2-1/4" to top of rear binding posts(turned down) tested and both shunt coils show continuity, all brass and bakelite binding posts complete and in excellent shape, wood box(looks like mahogany) in nice shape with no cracks or chips but note that the original varnish is dry and cracked. All original brass screws are here, as are the original feet.

Vintage LFCo Milliamperes Meter M 505101 PLATE MOUNTED W/TERMINALS & SHUNT #2
Presenting what appears to be a rare LFCo milliamperes meter/gauge. Spent a good part of an icy Sunday afternoon trying to identify this particular gauge manufacturer. But never did have any success. Gauge is housed in a metal case rather than the more common Bakelite found in most vintage gauges. Gauge is mounted on a piece of plexiglass, and the terminals are mounter below the meter on the right and left. Face of meter is yellowed from age, and on the very bottom is found an(M) on the left of the needle mount, and(505101) is on the right. These numbers and letters appear hand written, rather than standard print. and were probably added by hand before the meter faces were printed. We have no method or knowledge to test the meter, yet the needle does move freely whenever the meter is moved.
