ANNIS CO. It is marked 5-0-5 and is in a leather carrying case that appears to have had little or no use and the meter is in the same condition. I do not know if this is the original case. But the meter fits snugly to the sides and there is about an inch of room left at the top. Also, there is a paper included that decribes the meter and gives some instructions. It was printed by R.B. Annis Co. The meter is approx. 2 1/2 inches in diameter and about 2 5/8 inches in height. The leather case is approx. 2 3/4 inches on its exterior bottom end and about 3 1/8 inches on its exterior top end. The top is wider in order to fil over the rest of the case. The ... morecase is lined with a red, felt-like material and all look unused. The snaps work fine. The case says-Made in Germany. A nice old FDNY Alarm Box panel meter. Measures a current of 0-150 milliamperes. Which is exactly what you would want for a Gamewell home alarm system display. The meter has been tested& functions properly. It mounts into a 2 1/8" hole and is fastened with 3 screws. The condition is very good but with a minor stress crack in the painted brass bezel. The glass is not scratched, chipped or broken. Listed as-found and in need of a good cleaning. This meter was made by the Weston Electrical Instrument Corp. Newark, NJ. It is model number 354. I do not know the exact age, but imagine it is likely circa 1930's-1940's. A very nice meter for a fire alarm enthusiast that is seldom available. Fast.
