Vintage Polished Steel Gas Cap New
I do not have any info on what this gas cap will fit or it's date of manufacture. I got this as part of a group lot and there are no markings on the box. What I can tell you is that it is new in it's original packing and comes with a rubber gasket. The gasket is still flexible and looks to be perfectly usable. There is a small link chain that connects the cap to the body. It does not come with any mounting screws. But the holes drilled for the screws are counter sunk. The dimensions are as follows: Overall diameter of the top bezel 3 and 5/16 inches Distance between screw holes center to center 1 and 15/16 inches Overall diameter of the flange that protrudes from bottom 1 and 7/8 inches Depth of flange 1 inch Hope this helps. This auction is for a vintage galvanized steel funnel. It is embossed Cities Service Oil Co. It also has some black letters that are hard to read. Think it starts with Trojan and some numbers. May be the original owner. Gas type, or gas station. The funnel is 14 ½ inches in height and 12 inches in diameter. It has some shallow dents but no sharp dings. Pretty much the wear expected in its life around a gas station or farm, or? Item will be sent following payment clearance. Buyer to pay s/h. We combine shipping if feasible. OLD heavy Porcelain on steel - Beacon Radiant Kerosene Gas Sign - NO RESERVE
Nice old porcelain on steel sign. Advertising Beacon"Radiant" Kerosene- A Caminol Product. This piece is in very good condition. Sign is straight and has beautiful color and shine. This dates probably back to the 1940's. But without a date on the sign I can't be positive. A s you can see from the photos there is some chipping at the corners. At a couple of the grommets and along the edge, a bit of rust, but nothing major to distract. The piece measures about 12" x 18" in size. Hard to find in any condition. This sign is pretty nice.
