As many of you know, the 1969-vintage DX 44V can be tuned and modded to achieve RX/ TX capabilities exceeding its out-of-the-box specs and abilities. I have field tested this radio and had a more knowledgable friend spend a few moments with it, but the radio has not been opened for a more detailed look; that I can determine, this radio is still sitting in stock condition, BUT I have to stop short of affirming that as fact, as I simply do not know for certain. As pictured, the radio also ships with two brackets. The radio includes the original Galaxy mic, and it also includes the very well-regarded TELEX Road King 56. Both mics are tested and work excellent. The mic cords(and in fact, ... moreALL cords shown) are in excellent condition. The radio 12VDC fused power cord is brand new and fits securely, as it should.
