Nothing is frozen up on this machine that I can tell but there is lots of dust and surface rust to what looks to be cast iron body. I am not sure of the age of it but I'm thinking 50s or before that. We found this machine and another one just like it in an old Gulf Gas Oil Distribution Center that we bought out and it was jammed packed with merchandise and collectible stuff from the 40s-to when they closed up in the early 80s. You will have to finish cleaning it up and restoring it where it needs it. Although you can dust it off more and just display it like it is on top of your antique or vintage desk. This is for an Outstanding Large old Gas/Oil Satin Swirl Ruffled Lamp Shade. The color in the pictures looks more pink. But I think in sunlight it is more of a light cranberry. This shade has a 4 inch fitter, has a diameter of about 9 1/2 inches and stands about 5 1/4 inches tall. This Gorgeous Glass Lamp Shade is just as found at a local estate. Overall, it is in excellent condition without any cracks, scratches or repairs. It does have several chips to the fitter, which should be covered up when mounted(see last picture) It has a great"ring" to it when tapped. We really hope this is the one you have been looking for! 1940's JHS Rochester Root Beer Dispenser Late 1940's JHS Rochester Root Beer Dispenser for Soda Shop A great item from a by-gone era! This Rare JHS Rochester Root Beer dispenser was manufactured for J. Hungerford Smith Company. This particular logo was registered between 1947 and 1950. The company address was Rochester. New York. This great steel dispenser has red enamel paint with three oval enameled logos applied with screws on the side and back. The handle turns to the side for dispensing root beer. The faucet is marked"syrup gauge" and"patented multiplex faucet Co. St. Louis. The lid lifts off the top, and the top is sealed with a red rubber seal. The seal is somewhat dry and crazed, but complete. The interior works and hoses are present, but it looks as though many years have past since it was used last.
