This is a very hard to find original steel skid for a New Idea hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It measures about 10 inches wide, 27 1/2 inches long and 5 inches tall overall. It has a 7 3/8 x 14 inch bolt pattern where the engine would mount. It has a very minor amount of original green paint on it and would look great under an original engine. These original skids are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and would take a bit of work to fabricate. Don't miss your chance on these originals. The pictures tell the story. This porcelain sign would have been mounted on the fence surrounding an oil well. For those who don't know. Here's how the oil and gas industry labels their wells: 1. First. The land that has been designated as a specific oil"lease" is given a name, in this case it is"L.C. Harris" That's going to mean Mr. Harris was registered with the land office as the owner of the land way back when the land boundaries were first designated. 2. Because an oil lease(the hunk of land) might be many acres in size. They break it down into quarters and sections. This sign is for the northeast quarter(NE 1/4" and section 22. I used to work in the oil and gas industry and had to track oil wells, so I recognize that part. 3. I can't remember what the"T 8 S-R30E" means. Though. I think the"T" is for"Tract" ... moreThe"S-R30E" might be the name of a group of wells. 4. Finally. Each well is given a number. This sign is for"Well 2" 5. The last part is easy: Chaves County. That's in New Mexico. Wanting to tell you a bit more about that oil well. I contacted my old coworker in the oil and gas business. He is a"landman" guys who deal with who owns the land) and, sweet guy that he is, he did a search for me. Here's what he reports: His first attempt: First pass at this delivered no well in Chaves County in this S-T-R. So I searched for the entire T-R only(using the NM O&G site) it brought up(27) wells in what appears to be an old waterflood unit(many injection wells, and plugged wells, but I did not see a producer) Still, I searched the results on the words"Harris" Sinclair" to see if a well name or original operator might be listed- no records matched. No"Spindletop" type results expected, unfortunately. His second attempt: I checked historical maps. The area on these mark-ups is desolate. And was apparently heavily drilled and likely later water-flooded. However, this area is today within reach of the Eagle Ford

I replaced the burners a couple of years ago. As well as stainless steel heat plates/drip bars and cross-over bars, but there is some decay present, especially with the cross-over bars, drip pan, and at the front interior of the grill(see photos) The thermometer is not accurate. Replacement parts are readily available from eBay, Amazon and other retailers. All of the burners work well. The electronic igniter does not work(light by hand) The price also includes one propane tank(partially full) Grill sold as-is.
