Used condition have been filled many times with JP8 and Diesel Fuel. I have Filled and Drained to check for leaks, minor scuffing as noted in pictures. They have been filled and drained so they will have the slight smell of kerosene(JP8) and/or Diesel Fuel, this will not interfere with you using them for gasoline, diesel, kerosene, or any other fuel you need to use them for. As you can see buy the pictures this on has its own personalized paint job. Kind of reminds me of the old M*A*S*H series on television. As you see in the photo I am including a BRAND NEW VITON Gasket which you should use if you are going to be filling the tank with Gasoline. Scepter Fuel Gas Diesel Jerry Can Canister Jug With Spout
Scepter gas can in mint condition. Comes with a new high flow spout. Keep in mind that this canisters are pretty much useless with out the spout. Here is little bit more about the spouts I make. Pour spout for Scepter fuel canisters. Original Scepter gas spout is very slow and over priced. This Big Ben will empty 5 gallon fuel can in about 55 seconds. The nozzle tip diameter is 0.8" which will work with any gas and diesel fuel tanks. The whole assembly is about 14" long. The nozzle end has a threaded locking cap which will not leak. This is a best available set up. This unit screws in to female inner threads of the fuel can and bottoms out into the shoulder to eliminate any possible leaks. No tools needed but I would strongly recommend in the beginning to carefully screw the unit into the canister making sure it's square to ... moreavoid cross threading several times to break it in. You may need to use a strap wrench if it's too tight for your hand. KEEP IN MIND THAT CHEAPER AFTERMARKET SPOUTS FOR SCEPTER FUEL CANS WILL NOT WORK WITH UNLEADED GAS FUEL TANKS. THIS ONE WILL. Here is a very nice Scepter heavy duty 6 gallon gas can with vent. The vent tether is there. But the attachment to the vent cap is a bit loose. Not sure if this is how they were designed so the vent cover can be set aside or not. See photo seven. The new owner I suppose could put a dab of glue in it if you wish, but the can is fully usable as is. This can also has its spout. And the spout cover that covers the bottom of the spout when you get gas at the station. Please note that the spout has its factory screen intact in it! It is a nice looking can that has been rinsed inside and out to provide you with years and years of service.
