What a terrific gas can! It has a self venting nozzle spout. And is in really terrific condition. It's been all cleaned inside and out and is ready to be put to service. This is a can you will be proud to own. Has the double handle for easy control, and even has the seal disc to seal the nozzle when transporting fuel. The seal disc for this can doubles as a cap for the nozzle. It fits a little loose in that position. But it fits as designed. The seal disc is used as shown in photo three for transporting from the gas station. Then it stows at the end of the nozzle to aid in reducing evaporation. The can is in nice condition, and is the PERFECT can for your chainsaw, weed eater, or other small two cycle outdoor equipment. Also good for the small outboard on your skiff. The can has some scuff marks on bottom and slight other wear, but the label is mostly intact.There is a shallow razor cut, it looks like, through the label an about an inch above, but it does not go through the plastic I put in some water and shook it around, and there were no leaks. This listing is for a 5 gallon(18.9 Liter) Vented Gott"Cantainer" gas can. It is thick plastic with 1 handle on top. The original cap is intact. It is used, and does not have a spout. A part of the original spout has gotten into the can and shakes around inside. It can be removed but that will be up to the buyer if they choose to do so. The can itself is vented but the screw on vent cap is missing. The can is used and in good shape and the inside looks clean, but has a slight gas smell. Vtg Rare Original 2 1/2 Gallon Heavy Duty Plastic Gott Gas Gasoline Fuel Can
Featured here is an early Gott heavy plastic gas can manufactured around 1980 in great structural condition. It's an unusual style and shape when compared to modern plastic gas cans. And is constructed of a stronger gauge plastic. It has the typical soil marks and scuffs of most plastic cans, and a nick on the cap, but is in nice shape for something 35 years old. It's complete with the original spout and cap(the plastic disc shown is undoubtably a replacement) and has a very unusual vent cap. I included plenty of photos to show the condition from different aspects. There are many embossments on the bottom as follows: Approved by Massachusetts State Fire Marshall Approval# GC 115P June 20, 1980. Model 1225 Gott Corp. Winfield, Kansas.
