Vintage Embossed Quacker State Gas Oil Company Signed Stamped Metal Sign! This is a great vintage sign. It is in good condition for its age but not excellent or mint! I don't have to tell you that because you can look at the pictures to tell. It does have some crinkles. Dings, holes, paint missing, white paint and rust. Please look at all pictures to determine if this sign's condition is something you are OK with and you are willing to be satisfied with before you purchase it. As with all signs and vintage items everyone's idea of condition is different and that is why we take several pictures of the item for you to see all its flaws. It is stamped in the corner(please look at the picture) I feel like this sign was made before the 50s but I could be wrong. We had several of these and some actually had a date in the 40s on them. ... moreThis one I cannot find the date but does have a G47_ code on the bottom right hand side as seen in pictures. We have not cleaned this sign up at all. It is in original found condition. It might look better once you get it and do oil it or keep it oiled to fill in some of the scratches. Also any white paint it has with a little bit of gentle elbow grease, steal wool, soap and water you can rub some of it off or leave it like it is. This sign has amazing Quaker State Graphics that they are all known for. It would be an amazing sign to put in your collection. We have several of these signs that we will be listing over the next few months but each one has its own set of flaws and we do not feel like we should list them all at the same time. So far we have sold 5 of them out of 7 and are getting about the same price each time.
