I believe this is some sort of oil field claim sign? I know the oil companies were in very heated competition for oil early on. This sign is of very heavy gauge steel and measures 30" x 12" It is rather primitive, made with a stencil and paint and has a bullet hole. Interesting piece, fresh out of a Chicago estate.
