Lamp could use a cleaning and polishing if needed. Lamp was burning well and is safe. It has a new filter and gasket to keep it safe if used for caving. It is model#2105-4 and based on the fact that the model#2106-7 came out in 1945, this would be an earlier model. It shows some wear from years of use, but has not been abused. As you can see in the shots, there are no major dings, lens is intact, switch moves smoothly, and best of all it is in working order. This is"not" the Bell System model. The inside of the battery compartment has a small bit of rust way down at the bottom, but the components inside the lid are clean as you can see. It shows no signs of battery meltdown. The can itself measures 14 7/8" in diameter x 18 3/4" high. There is added dimensions for the hardware and wrought iron handle and foot step. The can is in very good condition for its age. And use. Two US Military Flashlights WW II Era Justrite Mfg Co
Both flashlights are US Army green.with lights facing straight ahead) they are 8 7/8" high. 2 3/4" wide and 1 1/4" thick in the body and 2" thick where the light is. The lights rotate slightly down to almost straight up. They both have a belt clip on the back and a wire on the bottom so you can hang them. Both are to be powered with four D cell batteries. There is an on/off switch under the light(on the top of the battery pack) And the flashlight that is in better shape. Has a clip under the light bulb to store a spare bulb. I was not able to try the flashlights to see if they still work, because, I do not have a light bulb to fit them. One is corroded or rusted and will need cleaned and possibly minor repairs so it can be used.
