The Arizonia Special with a bale and hook. The Anaconda Special with a sharp hook and a stick attachement and the Western Special with handles. Not many of these lamps survived the hard useage in the mines. This one has the adapter so that a flame protector could be installed over the burner tip. Vintage Just Rite Head Lamp Justrite Mining Flashlight
You are viewing a nice V intage head lamp by Justrite Corp. This was an estate sale purchase and it has not been tested. It is in very good condition with some paint scratched on the back. The padding on back of light is worn. The light and battery compartment comes in a military green color. Elastic straps are in good condition with their clips. The battery compartment measures 5.5" long. The light is 2.5" in diameter. I believe the flashlight take D batteries. The filament in the bulb is intact and all the other parts appear intact.

This can is in good condition except for paint wear and dirt and a few dents. It is I believe a 1 gallon can- about 7 3/4 inches tall not including the handle and spou and about 22 3/4 inches around. It is marked many places- main marking in front is Underwriters Laborastories Inc Inspected Safety Can No C564642. Next to that is Justrite Mfg Co Chicago and patent numbers on the other side. There are 2 sections with black paint which you may be able to get off. I can't see down inside- there is a scren filter which I can't get out in the neck. Fabulous oldie! Vintage Justrite WV Coal Miner's Brass Carbide Lamp Patented and Made In USA
This Justrite Brass Carbide Miner's Helmet lamp has seen many years of use in a West Virginia Coal Mine. It has dents and bends from the years of use. There are no holes or major damage and all parts appear to be present. The top is marked Trademark Justrite Made In USA Pat. applied for. This is an early one. We are an area near many coal mines and these come up quite often.

Vintage Ink Bottles Parker, Higgins, Justrite and an unknown bottle
I found these four vintage ink bottles in my old barn. the first one I'll speak about is a Justrite Quick-Dry Rubber Stamp Ink. This bottle still has the label. It has a plastic cap and the word Justrite embossed on the bottom. It is in good shape no chips or cracks but there is some ink on the label. The second is a Parker Quink, it has a plastic cap and says Parker made in USA 2 ounces 59 CC embossed on the bottom. The bottle has no chips but the plastic lid does have a crack. The third is a Higgins drawing ink bottle, it has Higgins Drawing Ink embossed on the bottom with the numbers 408 and a 6. It also has what looks to be an Ink bottle on the bottom maybe an L and a P inside of the bottle, that is between the Higgins and the drawing ink on the bottom of the bottle. The last bottle I am not sure if its an ink bottle or possibly a ... moreperfume bottle but it is a smaller bottle in a similar shape as the other bottles. Here's one of those old carbide lanterns from Justrite. It has the 7" reflector and the large body. It is a bit dirty. My guess is. it has just been sitting on a shelf. Because all the parts turn and move easily. Its actually pretty clean on the inside. The flint even works and sparks. I'd say it just needs a good cleaning and some carbide. Vintage JUSTRITE Metal Headlamp Light Metal Battery Case: You are viewing a vintage JUSTRITE metal headlamp with a metal battery case. The case is stamped'JUSTRITE INSERT CELLS WITH BRASS CAPS DOWN ON SIDE UP ON THE OTHER' There is an electric wire that runs from the light to the battery pack. The battery case measures about 5 1/4" long. The light has a glass lens and a metal case with a toggle switch. Has some rust and corrosion. Needs some work to light up. It doesn't have a strap on it.
