The story was that the machine was in a old mobil gas station in Wichita Kansas. And they never used the cup dispenser for it, they left it in the box. Inside the box it had the original packing material for the glass globe to protect it during shipping. You can see on one of the photos were it was shipped to a Socony oil station in Kansas. The machine is made by Advance company with a Pat date of 1923. This is a 5cent machine that vends full size gum packs. It includes the key for both the door lock and the coin box. Gum in photo is not included(sorry) Advance made many machines similar to this style. They made them to vend anything from Lucky Strike all the way to condoms in case you get lucky. The thing that makes this one so special is the size of the machine is very uncommon and the display glass frame is larger then most. This machine is made to mount on the wall or sit on the counter.
