The dates of manufacture varies from the 70's and 80's The can is in decent shape and has no leak which I have detected. The can has good metal and is in good condition on the inside. 3 Old Style Plastic Gas Cans With Vent, Two 2 1/2 Gallon & One 2 Gallon.
This auction is for all 3 cans. The Craftsman can is a 2 1/2 gallon and is missing the filter screen inside the spout and is missing the spout cap. The 2 gallon Midwest can is missing the spout cap. The other Midwest can is 2 1/2 gallon and missing the spout cap and the rubber gasket inside the spout which causes a small leak from where the spout screws on the can. All these are minor fixes for these old style cans. All tested with water and no leaks found except the fore mentioned missing gasket for the spout. All 3 cans have intact and working vent caps. These are all the old style with vent cans that pour evenly unlike the new government mandated expensive models you have to buy today, these old vent style cans are getting harder and harder to find so get them while you still can! VINTAGE 5 GALLON EAGLE GALVANIZED CAN OIL GAS CAN WITH PUMP HANDLE UP FOR BID! The can is in good condition. It is not rusted through any where. It does has some scratches and rust spots and some missing paint. It has an odd pump handle on the top. It looks like the pump handle would be used for insecticide or something like that. The pump goes up and down just fine. I cannot test the pump because I cannot get the lid off the can. I do not know what the condition of the can is inside because of the lid.
