Found on a high shelf in the back of an old farm equipment barn is this Factory Rebuilt OPW brand model 1A Fil-o-matic Automatic Shut Off fuel nozzle. The barn's contents are part of a ranch estate sale. Located in a very rural ranching and farming area of central Texas, and it appears that this nozzle has been on the barn shelf, in its' original box with(the remains of- see photos) the documentation/instructions for a very, very long time. First of all. The condition of the box, and more especially the insect munched paperwork took some time to achieve. Also, the paperwork is dated 1972. For a forty year old piece of equipment, it is in unused condition- looks perfect. see the photos! We just wiped the dust off with a red shop rag. same thing with the box(much dirtier, of course) including a mud dauber nest. The nozzle business end(dispensing) ... moremeasures 3/4" ID and 7/8" OD.
