On display since new. Run only for testing.This train has been on display since new and was not run until now. For testing. Motors run smoothly and all wheels drive with no issues. Traction tires are like new. Lighting works perfectly. Smoke unit has not been tested but has never been used. Railings and detail parts, including snow plow, are still in the original plastic for you to install. Both types of couplers are included. I would rate this locomotive as like new if it were not for the faded paint. This train has never been outside. It has always been on display along with the rest of my trains, but for some unexplained reason, the yellow paint ... morehas faded to a pale yellow, mostly on the cab. Look closely at the pictures and you decide if this is acceptable. I can only assume that the manufacturer had a bad batch of paint during this production run. The train still looks great, and the fading is not easily noticed until close inspection. I only noticed this recently. The black paint is still excellent. Lettering still looks good. This train would fit perfectly in an outdoor layout where a little fading of the paint may actually be desirable. The USA Trains, SD70mac is known for its pulling power and would make an excellent addition to your freight line. The box has a couple of dents from the original shipping. But the Styrofoam is intact. The USA Trains, blue box will be shipped inside the original brown shipping box as it came from USA Trains. I am selling this item as is. With no returns or refunds.
