What's up everyone. Up for grabs is a limited and rare piece of DJ gear, the mackie d2. This DJ mixer at one time was my favorite(might still be) but unfortunately it has issues. First off. The phono inputs are acting haywire, the sound comes in then goes out, the cross fader doesn't seem to respond at times and then not at all. Its a pain in the ass: As for the line inputs they are hit or miss also. I've played an entire set with no problems using Serato and worked perfectly. The fader didn't have any hangups and I was scratching on it and it was cutting smoothly like the good ole days. The next day it started acting buggy again. I think it's possessed, so, since I got this mixer for $300 years ago, it was great for what it was. The needle on the TECHNICS cartridge is a SURE M44-7. The other needle is a NEWMARK Banana cartridge, i don't see a model number on it but it is a DJ style needle/cartridge. This listing/auction is for one vintage Cheinco kitchen canister set. It has 4 containers total one for flour. One for sugar, one for coffee and one for tea. The coffee and tea canisters are half as tall as the flour and sugar containers and stack on top of each other. The containers are formed to form a circle when positioned together on top of the turntable. Each containers has a plastic lid and there is one additional large decorative plastic lid that goes on the top. One of the plastic lids has a crack as seen in one of the attached pictures. The set has been used and shows some slight wear overall but is in good average condition for its age. Turntables: All the packaging is present for the turntables. Boxes. Manuals, lids, lid hinges, cables, headshells and blank slipmats. No cartridges or styluses are provided. Turntable 1- The direct drive motor does not work. All the lights work. Turntable 2- The direct drive motor loses power after a few minutes and gets slower and slower. All the lights work. The mixer did work years ago but I cannot be tested as the power cable is missing. The amp is not working. It was fine until it was opened up for some dusting. I don't know if it is something simple like the contacts or something complicated. It was a great amp.
