This trumpet has the forward positioned valves. Coupled with the exclusive offset middle valve cluster, which feels so balanced in the hand. Nothing in the trumpet world has ever felt like it, and most likely never will. The valves are very fast and the all slides are in great shape on this Recording. It has the great flexibility and center core sound that made the recording the favorite trumpet of players around the world. What makes this one so special? It is a marriage of the traditional Recording design and the unique flagship Opera. It has a nickel passage way for the main airflow like the Opera. It also has the same first valve trigger as the Opera, ... morewhich allows for adjustment on low D,C# and ALL 1st and second valve combinations. This trumpet was manufacture for the United States Navy and even has U.S.N. on the bell along with the traditional marking of Recording made by F.E.Olds Fullerton Calif. Vintage rotary valve trumpet - read the story
Here is the story. Found this in Europe. Collected from a repair shop that I came upon. That repaired classical orchestral instruments. Believe it is German and pre-war Had a musician play this and it works fine with good sound. There are absolutely no markings on the instrument and as I have been searching. I found that many of the makers of this type of instrument did not put markings on during war time. When I bought it. Perhaps 20 years ago, it was bright and shiny and can easily be restored that way without much trouble. It has been in storage since then. I am putting it up for auction. I dont know the key. Origin or age but again.it plays well I have given a return of 14 days.

Up for bidding is a DEG Dynasty 3 valve Baritone Bugle in the key of G. This is the older. Longer model Baritone from DEG. The newer version being around 6 inches shorter in length. This horn was used on the field for many years, so it does have its fair share of dings and scratches throughout the horn. The main bow also has several medium sized dents. But it is a great playing horn in great working order. All valves and slides working and are smooth. The silver plating is pretty much 100% intact. Comes with a case which is functional but does show the signs of years of being loaded and unloaded from an equipment truck. Does NOT have a mouthpiece. Thanks for looking.

This auction is for the instrument you see pictured with case. 2 mouth pieces and detachable music sheet holder only. There is nothing else included. Pictures are of actual item. I did my best to picture this instrument ... morefrom all angles to give you the best idea of the condition. If you hit each key they move smoothly and appear to be in working condition. There is some corking around where the valves meet the key arms and they are intact. Some of the removable tubes are a bit stuck in place, a couple you can pull out with a hard pull and some wiggle but others seem to be frozen in their spot, i am sure some lubrication and TLC can loosen them up if need be. The horn shows its age with a lot of lacquer wear and tarnishing on the exposed metal. This is evident in numerous places on the horn, mostly the joint areas. Compared to other horns i have seen on ebay and online, this one seems to be in pretty good overall condition. There are some dings here and there on the body around some of the curves a couple small ones around the bell but no real crushing or heavy/abusive damages. There is a sort of ripple line that runs down from the bell edge to the inside of the horn. This is the most i can really see with any sort of wear/damage at that spot, there is of course some scratches/dings where there is some tarnishing from the exposed metal. These are very hard to find and seldom seen valves. Although used. When tested in a stereo, HiFi Valve amp, it was found that both valves supply a very good quality output signal.
