O. by the Mosler Lock Co. I have no way to test it however when I shake it the balance wheel(I believe that is what is called) moves freely. If there is a way I can test it. Just let me know. Here we have a Chubb(From England) Electric Time-lock for vault doors. Produced around 1970. The key works in the cylinder. The time-lock does not work as-is. Rumor has it that this model time-lock has caused a few lock-outs. And were taken off the market. One of these time-locks are on display at the Harry C. Miller Lock Collection in Nicholasville, Kentucky. This lock mounted on an oak stand measuring 9 1/4" high by 11" wide. A hole has been drilled in the mount to pass the wire through. A Vintage Set of Sargent & Greenleaf Safe Timelock for Vault ~ MUST SEE!!
This is an Excellent Safe Timer for a Vault. The inside is very ornate and I've seen similar pieces. But not one just like this. It has a Patent Date of July 20, 1875 thru Nov. 13, 1877. It was made by Sargent& Greenleaf, Inc. and every timer is in perfect working condition! There are scratches on brass case and there is no key that I could find to fit it. But I'm sure a key could be made to fit it. This is a very heavy piece, so priority mail is the best way to ship this item. Even though the key is missing and the case has scratches, this is a wonderful working piece that would be an excellent addition for your collection or personal use! It measures 5 1/4" front to back with the hinges and a little over 4 1/4" across and stands just over 2 1/4" tall. Please let me know if you have any questions or advice on this ... moreitem. Up for sale is a Yale Timelock Assembly that was removed from an old Mosler safe. Only one timelock movement is there and appears to be complete. It is unknown whether the movement is working. The safe was out of commission for a long period of time indoors before the timelock was removed. Dimensions: 4 3/8in x 3 5/8in x 2 1/4in. No key is included to open. Yale T261 DAT(Delay Action Timer) Timelock Set ***Very Rare***
For Sale is one of the best set of Timelocks we have. These Yale T261 7 hour time delay locks are very rare. Not many collectors have the pleasure of owning this set. These locks were used in daily operations at banks to lock safes for a short time(7 Hour Max) These locks are set to 20 minutes. The clocks are working perfect. The Stop Pins are set to the open position. We have not had the pleasure of servicing this type of lock but not many people can say they have. The lock activates when the safe is shut and bolts thrown out and the locking mechanism on this set is working great. Here is a web page I have found. The neatest thing about the article and these timelocks is that the write up shows the case ... moreis#2424 and the timelocks are numbered T3661 and T3662. This timelock set is as rare as they come. Type T261 DAT(DelayedActionTimer) Intra-day. c. 1930- 1950's. This timer contains two modified Seth Thomas Type T movements that each have a 7 hour duration within a T361 case that would normally have three T movements. If one looks closely one sees that three movements could not be placed since there is a noticeable indentation needed by the far right lock that would intrude into the movement plate if one were to be placed into the blank spot. This same condition applies where the case is milled to allow room for the left hand movement. Type T movements were the smallest coffin style movements made for Yale. The bottom photo shows a small, delicate wire which is provided to engage the balance wheel and stop the movement(located within red square) When the bolt is in the open position the pins will engage the balance wheels. Sargent & Greenleaf Model 3 Vintage Timelock Set
For sale is a nice set of Vintage Sargent& Greenleaf Model 3 timelocks. The pictures show the exact item you are bidding on. Both clocks are working great. I don't have the front door key and it is unlocked. This set was c. mid 1880's and has the rarer coin door without glass. This is also when S&G switched to 72 hour clocks instead of 46. Here is an article I found on the Internet: D. Model#3. C. mid 1880's with rarer coin door without a cut out for glass. This type of door was used where coin bags could smash into a conventional glass door. By this time demand had shifted to the longer 72 hour duration from the earlier 46 hours and a set of Geneva stops were added to the winding arbors to prevent over winding. The dial color had been changed from black to white for better visibility. Other changes to make the lock less ... moreprone to damage from dynamite explosions were made. A third heavy screw to secure the rear movement plate was added and also resulted in the addition of the lower decorative chrome plate as well as an additional 3/16 inch clearance between the drop bolt and the dial face. The drop bolt was redesigned with a decorative top extension ending in a disc(1) Spotted pattern case. Another solid door lock illustrating the crystalline pattern. Case#1306. For your bidding pleasure: I have a wonderful. Extremely clean and well-kept, 72 hour timer for a Bank Vault Timelock system. Marked Yale& Towne Mfg Co. Stamford, Conn. Pat. July 19th, 1892 Serial# 34156 stamped near winding arbor. Running 100% Please realize with any antique timepiece, they may not keep quartz time and this is being sold as-is. Now with that being said, I just pulled this out of my collectible cabinet, wound it fully, and it sounds super smooth. Please see pictures. Diebold / E. Howard Co. Timelock. Bank vault, working. With safe door mount
This is a Diebold 2 movement time lock case with 2 E. Howard& Co left hand movements. They have both been tested and operate well. The case has a nice nickel finish but has a little corrosion on it. The glass has 1 chip on the top left corner and is original to the case. No mounting screws are provided. Please ask any questions you have about this item and thank you for looking.
