30m Underwater 3.2MP Minolta Dimage digital camera w housing safe to 30m
Underwater Camera kit for amateur/newbie dive photographers OK. So. Here we have two Minolta Dimage Xg's along with a single underwater housing. The housing is good to 30 meters and never let me down while i was using it. It has been redundant now for about 5 years as i have stopped regularly diving and now have a tidy little tough panasonic that is good to a depth suitable for snorkeling and freediving(at least as far as i can get) The housing is a lovely bit of kit. I have checked it over and the seals all look good. The main ring seal is definitely sound still and i have soaked it underwater and pressed the buttons to check the other seals with no ill effects.obviously this was not at 30m tho. Unfortunately MY camera did let me down. Mine was the blue one and i cannot remember exactly what failed now but i think it was something to ... moredo with the light processing. It didn't make good pictures anyway. That's a certainty. The silver one was bought for my girlfriends dad who promptly left it in a draw until the screen got squished. When mine failed i rescued his from said draw and butchered mine for the screen to make one good one. It is working as it should be and I have used it to take a picture of all the other stuff in the sale as an example. The picture taken with this camera is the one with all the documents in. So. One good camera and an excellent housing(this was nearly 100 quid when i got it) You also have another camera for parts or for the nice blue body if you are brave enough to start breaking them down again. All the documents for the camera including the driver cd's are here, along with the documents for the marine case and both original boxes. I have the wall charger and two original batteries together with two extra's that i bought as back-ups(these were always a bit weak compared to the originals) There is a 512MB card in the box but i will provide another small card if requested.i have a couple of 2GB kicking around i think. I bought this photo safe before a trip to Africa to back up my photos. But ended up just using a computer to store all the photos, so I never used it. I cannot find the charging cable, so I couldn't test it, but when I tried to use it before my trip it was working fine. Looks like there is a USB and DC charger on the bottom, so you would need to buy those cables for it to work. Otherwise, it's in good condition, and still has its case.
