3 jacketed flasks 3 neck drain lot rare 500 1000 2000ml reactor lab glassware
3 Chemglass half jacketed flasks with three necks each. Sizes are 500ml. 1000ml and 2000ml. All three have the 29/42 ground glass center neck, and the 24/40 ground glass outer necks. All three have the teflon drain, which seals at the bottom of the reaction vessel, not down the stem like a stopcock, this allows the entire contents of the flask to take part in the reaction. The 500ml and 2000ml are in excellent condition. The 1000ml, is in very good condition(has a small chip on the outside of one of the necks, and some abrasion from stirring on the inside-neither of which effect the usability of this flask. Teflon drain valve stems have a 6mm center hole and are approx. 12mm wide at the top, and may have been a custom request to Chemglass to put the large drain valve in the smaller sized flasks. This auction is for Vintage Pyrex 250ml Retort Lab Glassware. These retorts were bought over 25 years ago as a lot. Every retort does have the Pyrex logo but different appearance of the label and numbers. No toppers. No cracks or chips. I can combine shipping. I have ran water through them but I am not attempting to acid wash them. Some may have water lines. But if they are to be used as a funnel, does a chipped end matter? I have no idea! Here are their measurements:The first 2 are about 3-1/4" x 5-1/2" They are all stamped Coors USA. The second two are about 3-1/2" x 6" One of these appears to be a bit thinner. Maybe, made at a different time. The thinner one of the two has a 2 under the Coors USA stamp and under that is 33-H. This tube is 3-1/2" long, 1-1/4" outside diameter, and has a thickness of about 3/32. I was thinking I might try filling it with split shot as a muted slide(would that work?
