This is for a single vintage original Pyrex(Corning) brand glass round bottom side arm distillation flask from the 1940s. This is 250 ml size. There are no stoppers included. The reason I am somewhat sure of the age is that these items were in a box along with some micro burettes that had a piece of lab notebook paper wrapped around them and it was dated September 1941. These papers are not included. They have been used for many years but are in good. Clean condition with no chips or cracks. Great for the chemistry collector or a science museum exhibit. Sorry it is somewhat difficult to get good pictures because of the reflections from the glass. These came from a well known chemistry laboratory that my brother interned at in the late 1960s when he was in high school. The item is a condensation distilling column adapter as best as I can tell. The inlet at the top is a 10/30 and goes down into a flare with a side tube with a 24/40 male end. As you go down the glass tube. There are 3 openings going into the tube at approximately every inch down until the glass tube turns at approximately a right angle and into a tube with a 24/40 female joint at top and a 24/40 male joint at the bottom. The overall length from top to bottom is 17 inches. I am not an expert on this particular piece of lab glassware; it belonged to a family member, a top research scientist and chemist, and came out of his personal laboratory. Up for grams is this Scientific Glass Apparatus Company side arm condenser column for a distillation rig. It has a 40/50 joint up top and a 24/40 joint on the side arm. I do not know what it was used for. Or if it was used at all. It is in great shape. The side arm is about 15 cm long and the unit is about 65 cm tall. Let me know if you have any questions.
