Here's an interesting old or antique mid sized bottle of the mid 1800's we received recently. This one is a nice cobalt blue color and has quite a bit of embossed detailing. On the bottom it has a patent date type mark. Difficult to read but appears to have the date 1899 or similar. This bottle is marked"John Wyeth& Bro" The glass top is a dispenser cup and has some markings on the top, This cup holds one heaping desert spoon full" On the side of the cup and at the top of the bottle are embossed numbers. The user aligned these marks after use to remind themselves of a specific hour take the next dose. There is quite a bit of information available on the internet about this manufacturer and their history. The bottle is in nice shape, no chips or crack noted, and while clean in appearance and some bottle enthusiasts ... morewill probably want to do a little extra fine cleaning. For sale are 5 pipettes and 1 bottle top dispenser. Two eppendorf research 5000 Two eppendorf 3190 100ul fixed pipettes One Wheaton Acura 811 500? One Fisherbrand 50ml(x1781) bottle top dispenser. These were all found at the tin lab at Bethlehem Steel in Baltimore. Almost everything in this lab was top quality. I do not know anything about pipettes so you are buying them as is. So far everything else that I have from them has been in good condition. The only thing I noticed is that the plunger on one of the eppendorf 5000 is not out all the way. See the last picture. I don't know what that means but I just wanted to point this out. Most of the pipettes on ebay and other sets sell for about 100 each. The bottle dispenser sells for several hundred. The glass bottle is clear with a row of gold stars around the base and a star burst design on the bottom. The top screws on and has a small log cabin logo inside an oval on the base of the flip tab. This Log Cabin syrup bottle is 7.5 inches tall and the bottom has a 3.75 inch diameter. It is in fine vintage condition with no damage.

They do not quite match. The glass on one has a faint blue turquoise hue and the other one is white glass. Fill them with oil and vinegar and the glass colors would probably not show. The lids are also different. The white glass dispenser has a crimped lid as is commonly seen in other similar dispensers. The other dispenser has no crimping around the threads but has some vertical texture to the nipple end of the lid. The bottoms of both have different markings. The turquoise bottle has the number"5 CANADA" printed on the bottom. The white glass bottle says"S 4" on the bottom. See photos for details. Both dispensers are in Fabulous shape!
