Offered is a vintage mid-20th Century Kodak glass darkroom mixer. The glass beaker dimensions are 8 1/2" in height; 5" wide at mouth; and 31/2" width at base. For photographic use only" and"Kodak" are embossed on the bottom of the jar. There are no cracks. Chips, staining or imperfections. This beaker was used in the dark room of a photographer practicing in Oshkosh, Wisconsin from the 1930's to the 1970's. I can include a calling card for the photographer who owned this beaker.

Found at estate sale: This is a very nice antique apothecary or laboratory etched glass 16 ounce graduated beaker made by the Whitall Tatum Co- circa early 1900's. The company mark is etched within a triangle near the top of the beaker"Guarunteed Accurate- Whitall Tatum Co- N.Y.Phila" The beaker measures 8.5" tall and has a pedestal base that measures 3.25" in diameter. The condition is very good for the age- no chips or cracks noted. But the markings are somewhat worn due to age and use, and there is scratching. This is a exceptionally rare mid nineteen century German Bohemian overlay cut glass chalice beaker with a beautifully detailed hand painted rectangular medallion with canted corners of a mountainous view with a couple walking in it. German gold gilt title. The chalice is cut white overlay over clear glass and has beautiful cut decoration and. gold gilt tracery all over the piece. Star cut bottom. Exceptional Museum quality Objects d'Art such as this piece were usually purchased by wealthy tourist in the 19th century taking the Grand Tour of Europe. A Northern European enameled armorial glass beaker late 19th Century Of'Historismus' type. Tapering cylindrical shape with spreading foot. Enameled in colors with a coat of arms and inscribed'Com.De. Kolowrat 1675' 11.5cm. In 1866 the German glassmaker Fritz Heckert( c. 1840– c. 1905) founded a factory in Petersdorf. Silesia(now Pieszków, Poland) At first the factory specialized in historical styles. A German book( photo 10) has been written on this glass maker and his factory, Fritz Heckert 1866-1923) The factory closed in 1923. There is an unpolished pontil scar on the bottom and the bottom is signed FH. The mark of Fritz Heckert. The glass is in excellent condition-enamel colors are bright, the enameling around the rim and foot are great. Amazing piece of history. I have a set of 6-all signed. ANTIQUE LATE 19th C. BOHEMIAN "MOSER" STYLE ENAMELED GLASS/ BEAKER/ SHOT GLASS
This sweet. Little green glass beaker/cordial/shot glass is heavily enameled. It measures 2 1/2" 6.4 cm) in height, is 1 1/2" 3.8 cm) in diameter at the top(or mouth) and is 1 1/4" 3.2 cm) in diameter at the bottom. This piece was blown, as it has no seams and the top is ground. This kind of work was perfected in Bohemia, known as Austria-Hungary at the time this item was made. This area, is known today as the Czech Republic. I've seen many pieces similar to this, that were made by Moser, but as it is not signed, I'm not sure if it is Moser or not. It has the very same high quality as his work, however. There are four panels. Two opposing panels have a four arched design in gold, with white beads. Inside the arches are three white beaded flowers with green leaves. The other two opposing designs are more elaborate. There ... moreare two large"X" shapes that are also outlined in gold with white beads. Inside the"X" are multi-colored, pink, blue, white and orange flowers with large green leaves. There is also white and gold scrollwork in all four corners of each"X" Outside the"X's" are the repeated white and green enamel flowers, the same as in the arched design panels. It's amazing how much work was put into such a small piece. There is a $1.00 charge for a new box within a larger new box and ample packing material to ensure safe delivery.
