Offered is a vintage mid-20th Century Kodak glass darkroom mixer. The glass beaker dimensions are 8 1/2" in height; 5" wide at mouth; and 31/2" width at base. For photographic use only" and"Kodak" are embossed on the bottom of the jar. There are no cracks. Chips, staining or imperfections. This beaker was used in the dark room of a photographer practicing in Oshkosh, Wisconsin from the 1930's to the 1970's. I can include a calling card for the photographer who owned this beaker.

Vintage darkroom measuring beaker plus 6 tongs: Tongs are in varying conditions and questionable but Dad was still using them so they must still be usable. Rubber tips. Where present, are split. But the beaker is in excellent condition and calibrated for 1000 CC on one side and for 36 fl. ounces US and English on the opposite side. Fluid ounce measurements are slightly different for US and the England. Beaker is plastic and has a few scuffs but is clear with no yellowing and mostly unblemished. no cracks or deep scratches. The beaker cup has a flared top rim above gently tapering sides and it stands on a round pedestal ... morebase. The lower half of the beaker has superb chased batiment design with alternating scroll top posts and arrowhead topped columns. The goblet has a superb hand hammered finish. The base of the goblet has the inscription'A Friend In Need Is A Friend Indeed' The goblet is 3-1/8 inches/ 79 mm in diametre and it stands 5-1/8 inches/ 130 mm high. It weighs 188 grams. The side of the goblet has hallmarks- lion passant. London mark, letter e for 1900 and maker's mark MM for Moss Morris. Rare Augsburg Solid Silver Miniature 3 Ball Beaker 1705 Peter Kick
This is a real rarity. It is very small. Almost the smallest marked piece of Augsburg silver I have ever seen. It weighs 1.1 troy oz. and is 1.5 in tall and is 1 ¾“ in diameter at the mouth. It is no doubt a schnapsbecher or brandy beaker. It holds about one liquid ounce. I could only find one other similar beaker on the internet. Much later, and bigger, also much more expensive. I don’t think these were common until much later. And my guess is that most were either not marked or destroyed. It was made in Augsburg Germany in 1705 by Peter Kick. Both marks are shown in Seling. It is in good condition except for a vey small dent on one of the balls near the vent hole. Easily repaired or ignored. Offered for your bidding is an exquisitely detailed French sterling silver gilt(vermeil) large beaker(also called a timbale) in the early 18th century Regence taste. Very high quality French workmanship- comparable to Puiforcat or Odiot. This beaker is of tulip form with basin(piedouche) foot featuring a gadroon detail. The body of the beaker is richly hand-hased with Baroque strapwork motifs. The entire vessel retains a faint gold wash- deeper in color in the interior. Though more faded from wear on the exterior. It is hallmarked on the upper rim with a'minerve' French silver guarantee mark for.950 fineness. As well as an unidentifed maker's mark in a lozenge shaped cartouche(S F spearated by a tower) The'minerve' mark is also stamped on the neck of the foot. Probably made in Paris, circa 1880-1900. VERY OLD 1670-1720 CONTINENTAL EUROPEAN SILVER BEAKER CUP with BALL FEET- SCAND Presented is a wonderful old silver cup made in Continental Europe between 1670-1720. The cup is decorated with hand chased stylized plant motifs and a kind of flower that resembles a Black Eyed Susan. The motifs are further decorated with hand-stippling to create a contrasting matte finish alternating with the high finish. The cup is very well made. The original hand hammered finish is still visible on the inside. The beaker sits on three ball feet. The cartouche is monogrammed with three sets of initials: PAS. CED and a third that has been filled in: ECQ or ECG. The underside has also had letters scratched into it over time: a P and an EB. We have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee ... moreit to be at least 850 purity silver. But it is probably closer to 900. The condition is excellent. There is a compression dent to one ball foot where the foot meets the body. We have shown this in the photos. The cup does not leak. There are no breaks. No cracks, no splits, no other dents, and no repairs. The cup measures about 3 3/4 inches in diameter and 4 1/8 inches tall. The weight is 133.0 grams or 4.69 ounces. Wheat and barley were grown and oxen. Sheep, goats and pigs domesticated. Large parts of the land were cultivated during the oldest peasant culture, 4000-2800 BC, and the earliest farmers were energetic builders. They constructed large assembly areas surrounded by moats and palisades like the one found near Sarup on Funen. They also built the oldest stone burial monuments, the dolmens and the passage graves, many thousands of which have been preserved in Denmark. Flint mines were opened and ... morea whole new industry emerged which specialised in the production of elegant, polished flint axes. Large numbers of offerings have been found, including clay pots, flint tools and amber ornaments, and there is evidence of human and animal sacrifices. Lovely Silver Augsburg Beaker 1698 Solanier Original Engraving Silber Becher
This is a nice German solid silver beaker made in 1698 by Paul Solanier. Solanier was born in Nurnberg. Germany in 1635. And died 1724. The becher or beaker is marked with the Augsburg date mark for 1698(see#156 in Seling) His maker’s mark PS(see# 1669b in Seling) and the assay zig zag. The beaker is engraved with a cypher(or cipher) that is contemporary to the piece. This is sometimes called a Queen Anne style cipher in that it is sort of mirrored or left right symmetrical. They are difficult to read. I would guess this might be a combination of J(or T) H and maybe C. The cup shows very very slight traces of gilding. There are as usual a few very small dents in the cup. None significant. This beaker is 4.3 troy oz. or 133 gm. It is 3.5 in or 8.9 cm tall and slightly less than 3 in. in diameter or 7.5 cm. at the lip. A similar cup but significantly ... morelighter and smaller, by the same maker at an auction in Germany. At the end of last year, brought(with the buyer’s premium) almost $1,800. That one did not have the original monogram(at least it wasn’t shown in the catalogue) which would also make it less valuable. Not having the original monogram. Generally decreases the value of silver of this age. In other words. This is a great piece for your collection!
