There is a stand wiith an adjustable height pole that measures from about 16" to about 24" tall. L85 FISHER 10P vintage BENCH STRAP CLAMP 4 GAS CYLINDER BOTTLE LAB EQUIPMENT etc
Note: L85 is my inventory control number. This auction is for(1) used Fisher 10P heavy duty lab strap clamp. It looks like it was only used once and is in excellent condition. It is heavy steel compared to the newer aluminum bodied ones. It can be clamped to a bench or counter overhang with the 2 thumbscrews. Maximum capacity of mounting that way is 1.8255" inches. It can also be securely permanently bolted to a surface with screws or bolts using the(2) 1/4" holes that are spaced apart 3.3750" on center. The 1-1/2" wide strap is in great shape and this really holds good with the serrated jaw to keep the strap tight. The strap has 2 sections one side is 22" from mount and the other side is 8" from mount. The strap is securely riveted to the buckle and mounting pins. There are no cuts or tears in the strap. It ... moreshould have a 10" capacity hence the model# but I didn't check it since I got this out of storage. It has many uses in the lab such as securing gas cylinders to benches. Vintage Cast Iron Support Lab Stand With large 4 3/8" wide Clamp, 12 1/8" Pole
Vintage cast iron stand used in labs. By locksmiths, by jewelers, small welding jobs, woodworking, you name, this versatile clamp is great for all of it. It came from a man who was indeed a jeweler for about 45 years. Heavy cast iron base with 2 holes that can be used to mount to a bench if you desire. The round bar is 1/2" in diameter and extends up 12 1/8" past the base. Has a nice large clamp that is 4 1/8" wide and they are cast aluminum. These jaws are a nice slip fit on the bar and will hold just about anything regardless of size as long as it isn't heavier than the stand so it doesn't tip over. The jaws or clamp easily lock into place with some 1/4-20 UNC thumb screws. The assembly weight 3 1/2 pounds. A great clamp that you'll be happy to have.
