Offered is a lot of 28 vintage glass laboratory test tubes. Vials, small bottles and rods. Seven of the unmarked test tubes are about 4" long. There are 3 marked"pyrex" that are 3 3/4" long. Two are marked KIMAX and are approximately 4" long. There are 7 assorted vials that range from 2 1/2" to 3" long. Five thinner vials range from 1 1/4" to 3 1/8" There is one little bottle about 1 5/8" tall, plus 3 assorted pieces. One of the KIMAX test tubes has a small flea bite at the rim. Unique rare celluloid book-shaped perfume holder. It is a teal green color and is 2 5/8" long. 1.5" wide, and 5/8" tall. The top piece is hinged and opens to reveal 2 storage compartments for the glass vials/phials which formerly held perfume. The smaller phial has a"Made in Germany" logo on the glass; the slightly larger phial has no markings other than the painted blue and yellow stripes. The silver phial covers remove easily but show some wear- as is to be expected for an item of this age.The glass stoppers appear to be quite tight in the phials. Both phials retain some of the perfume smell- one phial still contains a bit of the original perfume! Made by Mallinckrodt– Mallinckrodt Chemical Works– St. Louis, Montreal, Philadelphia, New York– Paper labels are intact on most of the glass tubes/vials. But there is one broken glass vial.
