It measures about 4.75" high at its highest point x 4.50" at its widest. The thermometer is 3" in diameter. The base measures about 2.75" x 4" It does seem to keep the correct temperature so I think it works just fine. It obviously is missing one of the parts of the helm. It says Joliet Glass& Paint Co. Inc. Joliet 5344. Because of the phone number Joliet 5344 I think it is probably from the 1920's but may be earlier? You are viewing an outstanding. One-of-a-kind, vintage Pepsi thermometer in very good condition. The face shows"Pepsi-Cola" at the top, AUBURN-PORTLAND" in the middle, and"American Art Calendar, Boston 30" at the bottom. The white enamel paint is in good condition and the bubble curved glass face is perfect as well. It features three hanger mounts spaced in a triangular form to mount to the wall. It keeps accurate temperature in Fahrenheit from-30 to 120 degrees. The thermometer is circa 1940's. From my research I believe the thermometer was originally mounted at the old Auburn. Maine bottling plant formerly run as Seltzer and Rydholm since the 1920's. Since it's inception the plant was the main bottler and distributor of Pepsi Cola in the region. Gorgeous antique Barometer thermometer with Storm Glass in very good used condition. This beautiful barometer really is a joy to look at, it is made from solid chunky wood and has a beautful curved top section, all glass is original and all wring is clear and concise, the barometer also has a thermometer and a storm glass(not sure how well this works) all glass is original and not cracked, it is really unique, apart from some minor marks, scratches and faing it is in very good used condition. This item is also a really nice size standing at approx 9 inches high and approx 11 inches wide and can be wall mounted or free standing. There are no a small chip on the backside of the inner edge and three small scratch marks on the face. This came out of a scale thermometer. Neat old GREAT colors Mason's Root Beer advertising round thermometer. Must have been an inside thermometer as the colors are so nice. Bubble glass looks good.no chips or cracks that I can see. Frame was full of dirt and junk in the back that attracted some moisture to the hangers. All three still solid and strong. Frame has a dent in the one side that is easily straightened as these are thin aluminum. Back is unusual as this must have been a reject from the factory for a beer thermometer as you can see images on the back that has a bottle that says Draft Beer. Never had one like that before.
