It also comes with the letter seem in the photos. This letter was given to the Farmers along with the Thermometer. The Letter were the"Rules to follow to produce a high grade milk. This is a nice"Taste Orange Crush" Thermometer# 1156 Made in the 1970's. With the exception of a two or three blemishes on the face it is in near mint condition. There is virtually no oxidation on the aluminum frame which is very unusual for its age. I CAN NOT CONFIRM THIS AND DO NOT WANT TO MIS-LEAD ANYONE BUT I SUSPECT THAT THE GLASS FACE WAS BROKEN AND HAS BEEN REPLACED AT SOME TIME. You are bidding on one vintage Eisele& Co. 1957 glass mercury oral thermometer with pocket holder. This item is pre owned but has not been used to my knowledge. The thermometer and holder are definitely in like new condition. The box has some wear at the corners and is discolored but is intact and in excellent condition as well. Especially considering that it is 65+ years old. The package also contains two original inserts. One testing certificate dated May 28. 1957 and one informational insert. These are both in excellent condition and very cool. There is a faint stock number on the underside of the box. There is also, unfortunately, some writing on the bottom that appears to have been done later on. Please feel free to contact if you would like more info. Thanks for looking.

Vintage Wall Mount 1950's Round Frostie Root Beer Thermometer Up for consideration is a very nice Vintage Wall Mount Frostie Root Beer Round Thermometer. Overall this piece is in very good condition. The aluminum ring that surrounds the thermometer is polished and free of rust/ oxidation. A new convex- bubble glass face has been installed to replace the original glass face that was missing. Overall the colors are still bright and vibrant. The reverse side of the thermometer is still solid with moderate rust. The dimensions of the thermometer is Diameter 12" X Depth 1 1/8" This is an original. Hard to find, Frostie Root Beer Wall Thermometer.
