You are bidding on an original. Vintage pair of 1 inch Hook/Ring Swivels for many different Winchester model rifles and carbines. These are the correct original swivels that hooked into the rings on the buttstock and also the forend(on the forend cap or band) of a Winchester rifle. These swivels are over 70 years old and original down to the dried grease on most of them. They are made from blued steel. They have never been installed on a firearm. They accept a 1 inch leather sling. We acquired these swivels 36 years ago from a Winchester Parts& Repair Center in Atlanta, Georgia and have had them ever since. THESE ARE UNBELIEVEABLY DIFFICULT TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION, AND THESE ARE JUST LIKE NEW. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION.

Stayed at a fabulous B&B in South Dakota- made even more heaven by the fact that they also had an antique store on the property. I shopped in several other locations in both states and brought home some great primitives. Advertising, pottery, and all in all interesting finds. Before I left, I went to a new farm auction, and an estate auction- so I have a BUNCH of new items this week- I’ll be posting every day, so be sure to check back! Here's a neat piece of old advertising that floated down across thew border. It's a wall mount 3 swivel hook hanger for you that reads on the backplate. Consumers Store C. Bowman N.D. It's made of steel, and you can clearly see that it was ... moreonce painted a robin's egg blue- most of that has worn off, with just peeks of it on the backplate- inside of the inset letters and on the perimeter of the backplate. This is a nice sized 3 hook rack that is totally usable today- perfect for towels in the kitchen, in the bathroom, as a dryer in the laundry room, and herb dryer- you name it, the possibilities are limited to your imagination. It measures 3 1/8" wide by 2 1/8" tall at the backplate hand has three arms with slightly uplifted hooks at the ends that measure 12" long. It weighs a smidge under 1/2 lb. The arms swivel 180 degrees, left, right or in the center. It is in excellent solid and sturdy and usable conditoin. The patina of the metal is dark from age, and you can see only hints of its former finish. There are light isolated spots of surface rust that are on the surface only. At first I thought the backplate was covered with rust, based on the color, but at closer glance, I don't think that's rust, I think it's either grime, or a former finish that has a dark brass or copper color- please supersize and see what you think. They were used to hold Holstein cows while milking. 1 clasp measures 4 7/8" long with a 5/8" opening. 1 clasp measures 5 1/4" long with a 3/4" opening 4 clasps measure 4 1/8" long with a 5/8" opening. Brass or Bronze 6 1/4 inch by 6 1/2 inch bell with bronze swivel hook
This old bell is unmarked and is 6 1/4 inches wide and 6 1/2 inch high and has a swivel snap hook marked bronze Italy. The hook is shown in photo 4. The bell has a great sound and slightly green patina. the clapper is iron. There are no marks on this bell and could have been on a ship. Dock, farm or home, but bronze bells were usually on ships. It weights 4 pounds and packed will be about 6 pounds so shipping will be expensive. ASK questions as there are no returns. Payment by paypal. Expedited shipping could be available at an extra cost.
