And the 4 hooks measure 10" 8" 5-1/2" 4" from top to bottom respectively. Each hook turns 180 degrees, and each has 3 pinholes in the back to hold each hook in a different place. This piece weighs just over 4-1/4 pounds. This item does have paint loss and very minimal surface oxidation, particularly on the back where it is attached to the wall. This is an old. Distressed, wood and cast iron key hook. The wood has worn down carved design on the front and is rough sawn on the back. The hooks are rusty but still swivel. Vintage Nautical Wooden Snatch Block w/Brass Swivel Hook/Lewmar?/NR
This is a vintage Nautical Wooden Snatch Block with a Brass Swivel Hook and Copper Pivots from an estate in Green Valley. AZ. I believe this to be an unusual piece of nautical hardware as I was unable to identify it online and the only blocks that come close are the early Lewmar's. Even those have a different shape to the block and what appear to be chromed hardware. One thing they have in common is the phenolic(Micarta) sheave. The sheave width is 3/4" overall with a diameter of 1.5" Overall length is 6 3/4" The white metal side straps are probably white brass as they're non-ferrous. The swivel base and clasp may also be copper as their patina is different from the brass hook above. The hook is opened by pulling on the spring-loaded pin. The only markings on the block are a"2" on one side and what appears ... moreto be a scrimmed sailboat on the other(see pics) Overall condition is very good. 8" Single Sheave Snatch Block Pulley Wire Rope Swivel Hook w/quick release
This is an old pulley that I used to pull wires with a rope. I have had it since Moby Dick was a minnow. I don't plan on ever using it again. The safety latch is bad and needs to be replaced. The pulley spins free. It is a little rusty. But it has been stored inside for the most part. The hook and pulley bearings seem to be fine. It has a quick release. for pulling electric cables that's almost a necessity. The pulley diameter across the center is 8" this should be about 3 tons. Let me know if you need more measurements.

GD Used Yale Spur Gear 1/2 Ton Hoist, Chain Fall, Swivel Hook Top, USA Made
Here's a used vintage Yale or Yale-Towne chainfall or hoist we received recently with some garage or workshop tool items. This one is a 1/2 ton spur gear type. We hooked it up to operate the chain and and the hoist seems to be operating properly. The hook at the top allows the hoist or chainfall to swivel 360 degrees as one would expect. This is a handy garage. Farm or barn tool for occasional heavy lifting requirement. It could use a little cleanup and some grease in the grease fitting would probably be a good idea but seems to be in good mechanical condition overall. We did notice some wear to the inside surface of the chain guide or guard piece caused when someone stands off center to the hoise then pulls the chain so that it rubs on the guide. The guide is still in structurally sound condition in this area but did want to mention ... moreit and show this area in the pictures. This is a hefty hoist that will weigh about 75 lbs when packed for shipping. It will be over the USPS limit so we'll be using UPS ground for the shipping service. The zip code and city to use as starting location for those who wish to do their own estimate of UPS charges to their location would be 03301 and Concord, NH. Shipping costs will probably make this best suited for those located in the Northeast USA or New England area. We have no packing or additional shipping service fees. That's about it. For those who might inquire about local pickup this item is located about 15 minutes from the junction of Interstates 89 and 93 near Concord in central New Hampshire. Two heavy. Steel safety lock swiveled forged steel hooks. They are very rugged units which have been in use over the recent past. They were in the assets of a NASA contractor that closed due to contract draw downs. They look rugged and really are. The contractor was required to meet precise spec requirements, and these certainly did. Hinged safety lock allows quick opening for insertion of line or cable. Locks immediately when released rather than having to insert a cotter pin. This is the grand daddy of swivel blocks and are heavy duty ones. They are tough and ugly and have not been prettied up, only brushed off. In addition there are 3 forged shackles sized 9/16, 3/8 and 5/8" and a 5/8" steel U-bolt cable clamp. The hooks are marked PN 408527-2, and otr# N156-44715. They are 9" overall, 2" dia hook inner. Among many ... moreuses they are ideal for towing trucks or rigs needing two similar hooks. Unique English Late 1800's Spinning Spoon.with red tagged hook and boxed swivel
Through my research and contacting a fishing lure authority in England.this is an early Allcocks Spoon spinner bait. Allcocks made lures to be sold through other establishments without there mark embedded in them. It is 6 1/4" long tip to tip. It has the leader and red tagged hook and a boxed swivel that was fashionable in the late 1800's to earle 1900's. The blade is made of Silver. This is a very rare find in this condition. Early vintage Salmon Spinner lure with red tagged hook and boxed swivel Hardy's
This is an early Salmon/ Trout spinning lure. Notice the early box swivel on the front of the lure. These were prevelent on lures from the late1800s to the late 1920s. The lure is in very good condition for age. My research on this lure leads me to a Hardys spinner but I can't confirm this.
