Installed ... moreon a truck bumper. The truck was wrecked and I bought it for the winch. I installed it on a little Caterpillar D4 bulldozer and it worked great, but was really too big for the machine so I replaced it with a smaller one. It really is a smooth working and powerfull winch. There is a tag on the end of the winch that reads that it has a maximum pull of 20.000 pounds with a bare drum and 9,500 pounds with a full drum of cable. It is hydraulic driven so it is really easy to mount wherever needed. There is a handle on it that allows you to freespool the drum so you can pull out the cable by hand if needed. The handle was cracked and we had it welded and it works fine- see photo. This is a nice heavy duty winch. I can ship it to you on a pallet- email me for a quote. PAYMENT AND AUCTION REQUIREMENTS Do not ask me to sell it early. Or take less than the starting price. I will not end the auction for a local sale either. You are viewing a used Braden brand winch I have for sale. It is a model AHU7-16F. I bought this from a electric company that bought it new. Installed on a truck bumper. The truck was wrecked and I bought it for the winch. I installed it on a little Caterpillar D4 bulldozer and it worked great, but was really too big for the machine so I replaced it with a smaller one. It really is a smooth working and powerfull winch. There is a tag on the end of the winch that reads that it has a maximum pull of 20.000 pounds with a bare drum and 9,500 pounds with a full drum of cable. It is hydraulic driven so it is really easy to mount wherever needed. There is a handle on it that allows you to freespool the drum so you can pull out the cable by hand if needed. This winch operated fine the day I removed it from the back of the South Western Bell digger derrick. I removed this winch about a year ago. It was primarily used for pulling underground cable. By the serial number. I believe it was manufactured in 1984. It has 3 speeds, low, high, and reverse. It also has level wind. The steel winch line is available at no extra charge. I removed the winch line because it was sold, then the buyer backed out. I will try to get the tonnage rating if you're interested.
