CM LODESTAR 1/2 TON Model F ELECTRIC CHAIN HOIST 208-220/440/480V 3PH
Thanks for looking at this auction. This 1/2 ton electric chain hoist is in good condition. I hooked it up and made a small video of it running up/down. I would prefer local pickup but I will ship to the lower 48 states in USA only. This hoist runs fine. It has been brought to my attention that the control pendant doesn't match the same age as the motor. This looks as though the pickle style controller has been replaced at some point. This control pendant control wiring is the 4 wire(up/dn/power/ground) type that is used in the newer motors. The wiring diagram on the inside has a date code of 1994. The contactor has 1997 on it. I would say this motor is at least 1997, maybe slightly newer. The contactor is the type that allows the motor to work inverted, I.E- like they do in the entertainment industry for lifting lighting and speakers ... moreclusters. This motor could easily be modified with new chain(65ft) and new pigtail and be used for this purpose. I added a new picture to show the contactor. It is an'end' view. This came from a closed auto plant. It was wired for 230v 3 phase but it can wired for 460v. The unit is in good shape and operates as it should. These units seem to be twice as fast as normal 32fpm.
