While total beam rolling length is 32 feet. The trolleys are 4 feet which leaves only 28 feet of actual travel. The yellow hoist beam has about 10 feet of travel but when you take about 1 foot for hoist trolley, you get about 9 feet of cross travel. Note that the hoist actually runs under the long rails. Legs are laying slayed out on the ground at the corners where the need to be welded back on to lift the whole assembly off the ground. LaptopSource Store Now offering Industrial Parts A Reliable Source of Quality Parts Budgit 1/4 Ton Air Hoist 90 PSI Model 311532502/ Type 2200 Small Frame dated 8/91 I bought this air hoist at a local auction. After connecting air the chain barely moved up and down. Noticed right away that the hoist had air leaks at one end of the hoist(control head) So I bought a gasket kit to see if I could repair, however I was only able to replace the flat circular gaskets once I took that section apart which did not solve the air leaks. Problem being that I did not have the tools or the know how to take the end caps off which I noticed leaked also. And add to that when I took the control head off I could see that at least one spring in the control head behind the end cap looked liked it has rusted. and I'm sure the rubber o-rings had gone bad. It ... moreappears that the air hoist would work properly if the air leaks are fixed but I can't guarantee that as I had no idea what I was doing or how these hoists work or are disassembled and if there are additional issues with this hoist other than the air leaks or the extent of what parts need replaced. Please note also after I had manually pulled the chain out from one side, and then trying to test the hoist again the chain is not moving either way at all. that's when I gave up and decided to more less give this thing away. Someone who has taken these hoists apart and know what they are doing should buy this. And also if you have access to parts to replace any parts needed for repair. I don't think I could sell it for any less, not worth the trouble. might as well throw away but thought maybe somebody might want this. Sold as is and broken for parts only.
