This is obviously an older item, likely dating to the first part of the 20th century. The hook is about 8-3/8 inches long and weighs about 1 pound. 3 ounces. The duckbill hook has a 3/4 inch throat. Absolutely charming Victorian-era brass wall bracket or pot hanger. The brass work shows wonderful cutwork detail and 21 scallops along the upper edge to hold pot handles. The hook swivels from side to side. But at 90 degrees(perpendicular to the wall plate) it drops slightly, so the arm no longer swings; a built-in stopping mechanism. The piece is in excellent antique condition. I have not polished it. But if you choose to buy it and want a brighter shine, let me know and I'll polish it before packing. The arm of the hanger measures 8 3/4" long and the wall plate measures 5" tall by 4" wide. I did my best to capture the style and quality in pictures.
