POLY ROPE HOIST PULLEY TACKLE LIFT VINTAGE- APPROX. 50 FT OF ROPE
Found in the barn of the old Pennsylvania farmhouse we recently moved into. I labeled it vintage. Because we think it's at least 20 years old, but there's no way to confirm as there seem to be no identifiers on the pulleys. As seen in the photos, there's a little rust on the forged metal but nothing that compromises the integrity or function of the system. The rope is somewhere around 50 ft. long(couldn't measure the extra rope in the pulley. It's still strong. The rope is around 3/8" It was still hanging in the barn over the area where tractors were worked on, but I see that it's also used in hunting, boating, etc. Nice find.

Up for auction is this vintage block and tackle. It has a brake and has the original oiled hemp rope. I do not know much about this type of item. So please reference my pictures for details. It is strong and quite impressive and will probably last forever! I am not sure what people look for in the way of measurements. The top piece is 16" h x 4 1/2" w x 3 1/4" d. The bottom piece is approx. 12" h x 4 1/2" w x 3 1/4" d. There is 22" of looped rope between the top hardware and the bottom. The rest of the very long rope measure approx. 32' long. This is heavy, but will fit in a large flat rate box, so shipping is $19 across US connecting states.

This is a BAC PH-150 Heavy Duty Ceiling Pulley Hoist System for up to 150 pound items. I used it to store my kayak in our garage. I pulled it up and it was stored for about 6 months and I let it down. So it has very little use. The rope is in perfect condition. These sell for about $120.00 and BAC is still in business. Here we have a Vintage BTC Star made in the USA Wood Block& Tackle with a double and single Pulley Hoist with Rope. This Block and Tackle came from KTLA Channel 5 in Los Angeles.CA. Gene Autry the singing cowboy purchased KTLA in 1964. I don't know when he sold the station. KTLA Channel 5 still exists. The double pulley measures 5 1/4 inches long the other puplley measures 3 3/4 inches long. The hooks plus the pulleys measures 13 inches long. Very good working condition.
