1976 Framed Plaster Relief Tall Ships Picture "Square Rigging" Signed Randall CA
Very nice tinted plaster relief showing a couple of tall ships with masts entitled"Square Rigging" I believe this is a plaster or chalkware material. But I'm not sure. It looks as though the artist shaped the plaster into the ship pictures while it was wet and mixed a black charcoal or something onto the surface for the coloration. The rigging, ships and water have a raised or relief 3D feel to them. It is very nicely done with lots of detail. The plaster relief picture is about 4 1/2 inches wide by 7 inches tall set into a frame which is about 10 1/4 inches tall and 7 1/2 inches wide. The frame is painted black wood which has a few wear spots to the paint and a 1/2 inch splinter off it at the top. Double Braided Rope Polypropylene Over Polyester 5/8 Rope Red- 150' 4-5k tensile strength. This rope has seen some light use but it is still in good condition. Applicable for Rigging. Boating, Equestrian, Arborist I have used this rope a few times doing aerial rigging but I have found it to be too heavy. It would be more useful as halter rope or for other rigging purposes where climbing is not involved. It holds knots well and it is soft on the hands. Can easily be cut down to shorter lengths. I do not recommend this rope for any heavy'running rigging' because the jacket is fairly loose and it will'pick' over sharp angled surfaces which causes eventual unraveling. If carefully maintained. Australian Saddle with western rigging
Nice Saddle. 13" seat per the tape measure. Western type cinch. Not buckles. Very comfortable. Has fit all of my quarter horses. Fleece is in decent condition. There is a small tear on the cantle but could be fixed and a little wear behind the cantle. Overall. Very nice and comfortable, will definitely hold you in the saddle.
