The bowl was in excellent to near mint condition with no chips. Cracks, crazing, or interior bowl staining. Unfortunately, after the photo was taken, I dropped the lid and the lid handle was broken. Both are in overall excellent condition. Though both have afew very small areas where the dark brown glaze did not cover, and the white ceramic peeps through. There is one small chip on the underside of the rim of one(see fourth ebay photo) Diameter at the top of bowls is 5 1/4" I have purchased a large collection of pieces by Russel Wright. Ben Seibel, and some other mid-century designers, and shall be listing them for quite a while to come, about 25 different items a week. If you like this sort of thing, please check back regularly. Used 14" Yamaha wood snare hoops for 8 lug snare. There are two spots on the batter side holes that have been crushed a little by being played on. The bottom hoop has an outer ply separating. Premier Die Cast hoop +-16" Pre-International size, 10 lug part
Offered in this auction is one used Premier tom hoop. This is commonly referred to as a"16 inch pre-international" size but it is a metric hoop that would be for appx 16.5 drumhead size. It will not fit a typical 16" tom. 10-lug. To my knowledge. These only fit Premier drums of the 1960s. Please check for application before bidding, or ask questions. I'm told Remo currently makes heads to fit the old Premier drums. The hoop is in average condition for age. I haven't cleaned or polished it but it could use both. There is some light corrosion which I snapped an example of in the pics. Overall they look great for your player drum. Each of these cereal bowls have delicate swags of red and yellow roses. With an arched ladder design between the sprays and the outside curlicues of tiny blue flowers. Trimmed in gold around the rims and built-in handles on the sides. Older Quimper Lug Bowl with Pale Blue background. Peasant woman and floral decoration in green and yellow. Well worn around rim.
