Nice Heavy-Duty 3 Ton A - Frame Gantry Crane
Up for bid is an extremely nice 3 ton"A" frame gantry crane. It measures 12' at the bottom of the"A" section. The"A" frame from the bottom to the top where cross beam sits is 15'3-3/4" The span between"A" frame sections is 18'7" The gantry is made up of various heavy I-beams and H-beams sizes. 8" x 8" 4" x 6-3/8" and 8-1/4" x 5-3/8" The first picture is to show scale and exactly what they look like when set up. The hoists and wheels in that picture are not what is included. The company I got them from. Kept them for some other units they had. I have several different various hoists which are not included as different people want different things. SO YOU ARE ONLY BUYING THE FRAME AND I AM THROWING IN THE CASTERS. 14' 4 post Gantry crane, hoist clear span
14' 4 post Gantry with a clear clear span and 12 foot travel distance. Trying to get someone to get me the actual capacity for the gantry. Since the hoist is a 1/2 ton the stickers on it say 1/2 ton but it is way too solid and big for that. I would estimate at least 1-2 tons maybe more but I'm not a structural engineer. If I can get an answer from the old certification company i will post here. The hoist is a 2002 Loadmate LM 05 460V 3 phase according to the tag. Power up-down and beam travel. This is a nice little gantry crane that works great and is light and easy to move. The beam is 6" x 10' long. Total crane height is 9' The support tubes are 2 5/8" OD and the vertical tubes are 3 5/8" OD with a 1/2" wall thickness.
