This crane is made by Gorbel of New York. It is 14 feet tall. 8 feet front to back, and inside width of about 15 feet. The crane has a 1 ton capacity rating and is equipped with heavy duty casters. I have it disassembled for transport. It is in three pieces. left and right uprights, and cross beam. Also includes a Budgit 1/2 ton 115v electric hoist. Runs smooth and quiet. You must pick up. CLICK ON THUMBNAILS TO VIEW FULL SIZE PICTURES* For sale is a 10 ton capacity. Abell Howe port jib crane with cable hoist. Yes, you read it right, it has 10 ton capacity. It is currently installed in Waukegan in a marine harbor at a leading recreational boat manufacturer's development lab, that was shut down. It was used for lifting boats out of water and putting them in water. Also that went with it. Is for sale in a separate listing. Since it is still standing, I cannot measure it precisely yet. The top horizontal boom is approximately 30 feet long(measured with steps) and my best guess, as to height, is that it is 26 feet under the hook, but that is purely eyeballing. I will be taking it down with the aid of a mobile crane in the beginning of July. The neighbor of this crane(a barge company) told me that the crane has not been used ... morein a few years. However, almost in the same sentence, he expressed interest in buying it from me, so I am not sure if I can believe him or not. I now feel that I cannot avoid mentioning this comment. But, in any case, its top bearing, hoist, electrics and so on, may indeed work or it may not work, and the jib is sold AS IS. It also has some amount of rust, as you would expect. Its power seems to be disconnected, as is the case with some other equipment at that location. It was used on a FRESHWATER harbor, though. If I learn more about its condition, I will revise this listing. This jib has power everything: rotation, transverse movement and hoisting is all powered(again, none of that is tested) I will try to test it once I take it down and have it in my yard. To ship it, will require full truckload freight(FTL) by a flatbed truck. I can also deliver, for additional fee, in the Chicagoland area. It is the buyer's full responsibility to hire a competent engineer to evaluate condition of this crane, conduct all necessary repairs, develop proper footing, install it, and certify its safety. Lucas 500 kg swing hiab 12v crane hoist for transit truck van etc
I have my Lucas swing crane now for sale. I have used this for the last 3 years to off load bags of firewood. It is quite old but 2 years ago I had the motor rewired and also the hand control I got from Panny Hydraulics just over a year ago. All works fine. It comes with the welded stand you can see in the pictures- this is handy to bolt onto you truck or trailer and gives a bit more height. Max lift on there says 545kg- the arm does retract down to give you a slightly larger weight lift- ie with the arm out as in the pictures the weight you can lift is slightly less. Easy to fit and wire in- you just need to connect the live from the battery into the crane and an earth. The controller plugs in and out.
