THIS AUCTION IS FOR A LOT OF 5 PAIR OF VINTAGE GLASSES. I AM NOT SURE IF THEY ARE CONSIDERED SAFETY GLASSES OR SUNGLASSES. ONE PAIR IS A FENDALL. WHICH DOES HAVE ONE ARM MISSING. OTHER THAN THAT, IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THERE ARE TWO PAIR OF AO- A O- GLASSES, WHICH ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THERE IS ONE PAIR WHICH HAS A CROSS IN EACH CORNER AND SOME WRITING ON THE INSIDE OF THE ARM, BUT I CANNOT READ WHAT IT SAYS. THIS PAIR IS ALSO IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THE LAST PAIR JUST HAS"JAPAN" WRITTEN ON THE INSIDE OF THE ARM AND THEY ARE WIRE FRAMED. THEY HAVE SOME PAINT DROPPINGS ON THEM AND NEED A GOOD CLEANING. Vintage Fendall T-30 Horn-Rim Safety Glasses w/Side Vents
You are bidding on one lot of one old pair of Fendall safety glasses. Their model T-30. These are pre-owned and presumably used but in very good usable condition. The lenses may be bifocal. There is not a separate lower lens but there is a squarish flat area on the bottom of each lens. I can’t tell if it is simple magnification or if they are prescription but they are not simple clear glass. They have an old style horn rim look and the lenses look slightly smoky. Or light gray. The lenses, temples, and side vents are all in good condition, with minor flaws/imperfections. Both temples are marked Ferndall T-30 Multi-Fit Temples. They measure about 5.5” across with a ¾” bridge and 6” temples. Overall a very nice pair of older safety glasses that I don’t see very often. Please email me with any questions prior to bidding. Vintage 1950's Fendall Safety Glasses.Light Gray Color.Silver Side Temple arms.Gray Side shields.The side shields are plastic and show wear.Marked: Fendall on Side Shields.Measure across the front: 5 1/4 inches.Side Temple measures: 5 1/2 inches.There are normal marks from use on the lens but it does not impair vision.Fit really nice.There are numbers on the inside of the frames.22 on the right side and 44 on the left.I don't know what they mean.The side shields look as if they can be removed.I haven't tried to remove them.

These vintage shop glasses are in really good shape as the pictures clearly show. I'm a sucker for most things I sell so I'm biased but these beautiful. The translucent grey frames are fantastic in the light. These safety glasses don't appear to have been used. The inset lens is a magnifer(like reading glasses magnification) Frames measure 45 mm- 22 mm- 145 mm. Almost everything I sell is vintage.
