It is made of a silver ... moremetal which is still shiny. The original nosepads are like new. The mesh side-shields are in excellent shape and fit snugly in place. The goggles are marked R.O.MFG.CO. on the inside bridge. The original clear non-prescription lenses are in excellent condition.a few very faint hairline scratches.hard-pressed to see. The goggles are considered standard size measuring approximately 5 inches across the front including the hinges. The lens diameter is 48mm. The total temple length is 6 1/2 inches. The original plastic temple covers appear unused. The original metal case is good working order. But lacks some in appearance with some paint spots and mild rust on the top. Although the lenses are safety thickness(quite heavy) They are made of glass and should therefore be worn with caution. The lenses can be replaced if desired and made into prescription or non-prescription sunglasses. International shipping costs and fees are determined by Ebay's Global Shipping Program. And in very nice condition, and were a recent purchase out of a local estate. Case is in great condition with the American Optical logo and"Wear these goggles- protect your eyes" The goggles are green tinted- side shields are also in the green tint. Measuring across from the outside of the lens it is 4 5/8" There is a number in a very obscure place around the nose piece area that looks like 23. They are being sold in as found condition- really, all that means is they are dirty! I put"steampunk" in the title as that seems to be a term that is being applied to items such as this. Excellent pair of antique welding/ safety glasses. Dark lenses with no cracks. The rubber( on the temple and earpiece is also in good shape. The side safety guard Is made of hard plastic( and has no holes except for the normal"air" holes. The bridge is good with nose pads that have no tears. Pair has definitely seen better days.
