Vintage Remington Rand Kardex Industrial Steampunk File Cabinet Here is something really cool and really heavy. I think these filing system are from the early 20th century? There are 15 drawers in each totaling 30 draws. Which still have the file separators which lay flat. They hold up to about 59 indexes It is in vintage condition with appropriate wear but no signs of abuse. The exterior could use work. Some of the exterior sides are delaminating, it seems that the outer finish is pealing. The draws seem to be solid wood with nice wood grain. The card shown is 5.25 x 8" The card slips into a clear plastic strip on the leading edge. This strip holds the card in place. It stand 22.25" tall. 27" deep and 11.5" I tested them all and all worked fine. My inspection found no broken draws and no sign of repairs. ANTIQUE KARDEX 15 MULTI DRAWER REMINGTON-RAND INDUSTRIAL FLAT FILE CARD CABINET This card file cabinet is in vintage condition with appropriate wear but no signs of abuse. The exterior could use work. Each of the 15 drawers holds 66 indexes each. The card shown is approx. 6.25” X 3.75" The card slips into a clear plastic strip on the leading edge. This strip holds the card in place. It stands 15" tall by 24" deep by 8 1/8" wide. I tested all the drawers and all worked fine. My inspection found no broken draws and no sign of repairs. The entire back stopper hooks are all present. This cabinet is heavy and I am selling it as a pick-up item or buyer arranged freight pick-up.

VINTAGE 16 MULTI DRAWER REMINGTON RAND KARDEX INDUSTRIAL FLAT FILE CARD CABINET
Please note that this is a PICK-UP ONLY auction because this item is very heavy. I'm located in Manasquan. NJ, which is about 1.5 hours South of NYC and 1.5 hours East of Philadelphia. This is a very cool industrial metal file cabinet that's from the early to mid 1900's. It contains 16 drawers that slide out and fold down. Each drawer has 65 individual slots which can protectively store& organize your documents/items. It can organize a minimum of 1040 items. Great for documents. Photos, artwork, postcards, receipts, ephemera collections, paperwork, or anything else you can possible insert into the slots& drawers. The Kardex measures 10.5" wide. 20.5" tall, and 24" deep. It shows some signs of wear from decades of use(see photos) But it still functions as it's intended. It's maroon in color, but can ... morebe painted if maroon doesn't work for you. It's a great discussion piece that's also functional. I have a second Kardex listed on eBay that is a different model. Check out my! This item is located in Milwaukee. Wisconsin. About 2 hours from Chicago, 1.5 hours from Madison, Wisconsin. Very neat Kardex style Industrial File by Remington Rand. Vintage- from early to mid-1900s! It looks darn good for it's age. But it does show some wear. It contains 10 drawers that slide out and fold down. Kardex Remington Rand Steel Index File cabinet 6 drawer antique industrial loft
Vintage Kardex Remington Rand 6 Drawer Kardex circa 1920's. It works like it should. Shows normal exterior wear and aging, one dent lower front rail. The unit weighs 50 pounds, it measures about 24” long X 9.25” high X 10.5” wide. The card slots are about 8.25” wide X 4.25” high. Please see all photos for condition and content. Vtg Industrial Metal Remington Rand Kardex Aristocrat Index Card Photo File #1
For auction is one of two available fantastic vintage Remington Rand"Aristocrat" metal index card filing cabinets. It is in excellent original condition and has a wonderful streamlined design. It is painted a soft turquoise green color. And has pale gray drawer fronts. It has been thoroughly cleaned inside and out. There are a some scratches here and there(mostly near the four round impressions on top from stacking) but no major wear. It features eight sliding removable trays with 76 flip-up heavy green cardstock index card holders in each tray; the unit holds 608 cards total! Each holder has notches that allow it to accept either 3"x5" or 4"x6" index cards. As well as a clear plastic label holder/protector at the bottom of each one. The drawer fronts also have a narrow metal label holder. There is a small dent ... moreon the very top near one edge. These are perfect for storing photographs or postcards! Up for auction is a Vintage Mid Century Industrial Era REMINGTON RAND KARDEX Metal Filing Card Cabinet- Wonderful vintage Remington Rand Kardex Green Metal Filing Card Cabinet. 1940's era. This is an 8 Drawer cabinet. There are kardex paper type insert/card holders in 5 of the drawers. Three drawers are empty. The outer cabinet does show signs of wear including some scratches.
