This is for a industrial green metal file drawer. This was party of a clean-out of old military items. This measures approx. 9 1/4" wide. 6 5/8" tall and 15 1/2" long, great for holding postcards and such. This does have paint loss as pictured. There is a paper liner in the drawer which does come out. Minimal rust. This is used but still has plently of life, no dents. I have more of these, and they originally where stacked. Look closely at the photos, they do differ as far as wear. UP FOR AUCTION M etal 2 drawer Cabinet I think it's called a card catalog. Not sure you can be the judge. It has two sliding dividers and the drawers work well. I'm not sure if it's a steelmaster it is not marked, but it may be missing, not sure. Both drawers have metal handles with a place to insert a label. The cabinet is in good used condition, it has many scratches on the top, some scratches on front and sides, may have a ding here or there, and on one side has a flaw a little rust spot and or oxidation, see pictures. The cabinet measures approx. 20 3/4" wide x 16 1/8" deep x 8 1/8" tall and weighs almost 17 pounds. The bottom has four holes on the edges. Not sure what they were for, see pictures. 2 Art Deco 4 drawer Metal File cabinets, Grey
I have 2 of these file cabinets. They have been in a basement for many years and have scratches and a bit of rust at the bottom. Art Deco handle design, There is a plastic in the middle of the handle to place a label underneath but not all of them are there and a few have chips. They are heavy and large, probably around 60" tall and 28" wide and 12" deep. Very cool for a mid century modern decor or even earlier Art Deco design. I believe that the metal can be painted. You are bidding on a vintage 2-drawer index card file box cabinet. This grey metal file has a great industrial look. The box accommodates 3" x 5" index or file cards. It measures 16 and 3/16 inches long(not including the handles on the front) by 12 and 5/8 inches wide by 5.25 inches tall(including four circular feet on the bottom) Each handle has a sliding plastic protective label cover. Two small slots on the top and two small tabs on the bottom allow it to be stacked with other similar file drawers. Adjustable mechanisms inside the drawers hold index cards in place. I can't find a maker's name on the item. This box has some scratches on exterior surfaces. Some wear and rust along edges, and a rusted spot on the top where another file box has scraped the surface.
