Chainsaw is a good cutting saw. With normal wear for a vintage saw, used but not abused, looks like everything works as it should, oiler, chainbrake etc, However, The Carburetor needs to be ajusted. Choke has to be half open for the saw to run, without dying. Just add the proper Stihl Gas-oil mix, Choke 1 or 2 times,and saw should start right-up. This is a used saw that I have owned for 3-4 years. It runs flawlessly. It is the most reliable. Easy starting saw I have for cutting firewood for my house. It started leaking fuel from around the seam last year. The leak was near the top of the tank so it only leaked until it got below and the leak was like a 1/4 of a teaspoon overnight. I put JB weld around it and it still seeps a little. It doesn't leave a puddle, just can see a little on the bottom of the tank if I run my finger across it. It's been that way all fall and winter. I only have one chain and bar 14" See all pics. It's a clean little saw except for the jb weld. Sold as is. I have only run non ethanol fuel and stihl mix. I would say this is a lower hour saw as clean as it is. Selling because I rarely use it.
